Homecrew platform, website, mobile applications, and related services
(collectively, the “Platform”) operated by BlinkMondo Futures LLP
(“Homecrew”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing or using Homecrew, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. About Homecrew
Homecrew is a technology platform that connects customers with independent
service professionals and service partners for home and lifestyle services
including, but not limited to:
Housekeeping
Cleaning services
Home maintenance
Appliance servicing
Beauty & wellness
Plumbing
Electrical work
Carpentry
Painting
Pest control
Deep cleaning
Elderly assistance
Babysitting and domestic assistance
Any other services listed on the Platform
Homecrew acts as an intermediary platform facilitating bookings,
communication, payments, scheduling, and customer support.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Homecrew does not directly employ
service professionals providing services through the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Platform only if:
You are at least 18 years old;
You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable laws;
You provide accurate and complete registration information.
Homecrew reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide
false, misleading, or incomplete information.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account.
You agree to:
Maintain confidentiality of login credentials;
Be responsible for all activities under your account;
Immediately notify us of unauthorized access or security breaches.
Homecrew may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent, abusive,
illegal, or suspicious activity.
4. Services and Bookings
4.1 Booking Requests
Users may request services through the Platform. Booking confirmation is subject to:
Professional availability;
Location coverage;
Service feasibility;
Payment authorization.
Homecrew reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings at its discretion.
4.2 Service Professionals
Service professionals are independent contractors or partner entities and are
not employees of Homecrew unless specifically stated otherwise.
Homecrew may conduct onboarding, verification, training, background checks,
or quality checks; however, users acknowledge that Homecrew does not guarantee:
Continuous availability;
Specific outcomes;
Compatibility;
Uninterrupted services.
5. Pricing and Payments
5.1 Pricing
Prices displayed on the Platform may include:
Service charges;
Convenience fees;
Platform fees;
Taxes;
Material costs;
Surge pricing;
Emergency booking fees.
Final pricing may vary depending on actual service scope, duration,
additional work, materials used, or customer requests.
5.2 Payment Methods
Payments may be processed through:
UPI
Debit cards
Credit cards
Wallets
Net banking
Cash (where applicable)
Third-party payment gateways
By making payments, you authorize Homecrew and its payment partners to
process transactions on your behalf.
5.3 Refunds
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the Homecrew Refund Policy.
Homecrew may withhold refunds in cases involving:
Fraud;
Abuse;
Repeated cancellations;
Violation of these Terms;
False complaints.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule bookings subject to applicable cancellation policies.
Cancellation fees may apply where:
Professionals have already traveled;
Materials were procured;
Cancellation occurs within restricted timelines;
Repeated cancellations are detected.
Homecrew reserves the right to charge convenience or operational recovery fees.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Provide accurate location and contact details;
Ensure safe and lawful service environments;
Treat professionals respectfully;
Avoid harassment, discrimination, abuse, or misconduct;
Secure valuables, pets, confidential information, and sensitive items before service commencement;
Ensure necessary permissions for service execution.
Customers shall not:
Request illegal services;
Use the Platform for unlawful activities;
Circumvent the Platform to avoid applicable fees;
Directly hire professionals sourced through Homecrew outside the Platform where prohibited.
8. Service Professional Conduct
Service professionals using the Platform must:
Maintain professionalism;
Provide lawful and ethical services;
Avoid harassment, discrimination, violence, or misconduct;
Maintain valid licenses or certifications where legally required;
Comply with applicable safety standards.
Homecrew may suspend or permanently remove professionals for policy violations.
9. Safety and Verification
Homecrew may conduct:
Identity verification;
Address verification;
Background checks;
Document validation;
Training or onboarding procedures.
However, Homecrew does not guarantee the conduct, actions, or omissions
of any user, customer, or professional.
Users engage with each other at their own discretion and risk.
10. Prohibited Activities
Users shall not:
Violate applicable laws;
Upload malicious software or harmful code;
Impersonate individuals or entities;
Interfere with Platform operations;
Use bots, scraping tools, or automated systems without authorization;
Engage in abusive, defamatory, fraudulent, or threatening conduct.
Violation may result in suspension, legal action, or reporting to authorities.
11. Intellectual Property
All Platform content including:
Logos;
Branding;
UI/UX;
Software;
Designs;
Text;
Graphics;
Videos;
Trademarks;
are owned by or licensed to Blinkmondo Futures LLP.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or
commercially exploit Platform content without written permission.
12. User Content
Users may submit:
Reviews;
Ratings;
Images;
Videos;
Feedback;
Comments.
By submitting content, you grant Homecrew a worldwide, royalty-free,
perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute
such content for operational, promotional, or legal purposes.
Homecrew may remove content violating laws or policies.
13. Ratings and Reviews
Customers may rate and review service professionals.
Reviews must be:
Genuine;
Lawful;
Non-defamatory;
Non-abusive.
Homecrew may remove fake, misleading, offensive, or manipulated reviews.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blinkmondo Futures LLP and
Homecrew shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages;
Loss of profits;
Emotional distress;
Data loss;
Property damage;
Personal injury;
Service interruptions;
Acts or omissions of third parties or service professionals.
Homecrew’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user
for the relevant booking giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blinkmondo Futures LLP,
Homecrew, affiliates, employees, directors, and partners from claims,
damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:
Your misuse of the Platform;
Violation of these Terms;
Violation of laws;
User disputes;
Third-party claims.
16. Force Majeure
Homecrew shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events
beyond reasonable control including:
Natural disasters;
Floods;
Pandemic outbreaks;
Government restrictions;
Internet failures;
Strikes;
Civil unrest;
Power outages.
17. Suspension and Termination
Homecrew may suspend or terminate access without notice for:
Policy violations;
Fraudulent activity;
Unsafe conduct;
Non-payment;
Abuse of the Platform.
Users may discontinue use at any time.
18. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Homecrew Privacy Policy.
By using Homecrew, you consent to collection and processing of data
necessary for platform operations, safety, customer support, analytics,
and legal compliance.
19. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with third-party services including:
Payment gateways;
Mapping providers;
Communication tools;
Analytics services.
Homecrew is not responsible for third-party systems, policies, or outages.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts
located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
21. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating legal proceedings, users agree to first attempt
resolution by contacting Homecrew support.
Homecrew may attempt mediation or arbitration where applicable under Indian law.
22. Changes to Terms
Homecrew may modify these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms will be published on the Platform with revised effective dates.
Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
